Golden Girl: Christina Ricci ditches her Pan Am uniform for modern day glamour in alluring magazine shoot

She has been bringing golden age of aviation to life on screened as a primped and preened air hostess.
But instead of bringing the sophistication of the sixties to life Christina Ricci is seen showing off her modern day chic, as well as plenty of flesh in a glamorous shoot for Emmy magazine.
The 31-year-old Pan Am actress is seen in a short golden play suit as she shows off her petite legs which are finished off by a pair of towering heels.

The beauty, whose appearance defies her years, is seen with smokey eyes, rouged cheeks and red lips as she stares into the camera.
In another frame the actress is seen dressed in a floor-length sheer lace dress with white applique detail to cover her modesty.
Christina is seen staring wistfully into the distance in the alluring high-fashion shot.

Taking a brief dalliance with bright hues the actress dons a canary yellow satin skirt and a sheer black blouse and striped satin colour pop heels, as she crouches down on the floor with her hand up against the wall.
As well as strutting her stuff in creations by Chanel, Marchesa, Giambattista Valli and Jill Stuart the actress has spoke about her role on Pan Am.

She said: ‘It’s like an ultimate flight of fantasy. We’re women living in 2011 and we get to go way back and dress up every day in vintage clothes and be in a completely different world.’
Opening up about why she decided to take on the role she explained: ‘Whenever something looks like it’s going to be well done and beautiful, I always want to be a part of it. I saw this as being a beautiful show, something that would be fun.’

The actress, who shot to fame at the tender age of 10-years-old after appearing in the hit film Mermaids, also spoke about how her mother gives her good advice and keeps her grounded.
Describing the advice as a ‘huge gift’ Christina said: ‘She taught me how I should never feel rejected, because most of the time people have an idea of what they want before you ever walk in a room - it’s a blonde, it’s a redhead, whatever. It’s what fits for them; it’s not about you.’
