It was the beginning of Amy Childs' latest business venture so of course she was going to dress up for the occasion.
But the TV star and her members of staff looked like they were ready to board a flight rather than buff some nails as they launched the Amy Childs Salon today.
Amy, 21, and her girls could have been mistaken for modelling the latest Virgin Atlantic uniform as they posed for photographs in Brentwood, Essex.
Ready to fly: Amy Childs and her members of staff looked more like air hostesses rather than beauticians as they launched her salon in Essex today
The five girls wore bright purple fitted dresses with black opaque tights and matching stilettos, but Amy made sure she stood out from the crowd.
The Only Way Is Essex star completed her look with a thin silver waist belt and wore patterned tights rather than plain ones and she wore her red hair in curls.
Career girl: The redhead looked really proud as she opened her latest business venture in Brentwood today
Ready to tan: The TV star was keen to show off her very own spray tanning range which is available in the salon
'Very special day for me today , @AmyChildsSalon is being launched , really excited but do nervous , my first big venture plan xxxx' she posted.
The former celebrity Big Brother contestant looked especially proud as she cut the purple ribbon outside her modern-looking salon and invited the press inside to take a look around.
Judging by the photos, it's clear to see that Amy has put a lot of thought into the decor and treatments at her new salon.
Take a seat: The salon also offers a variety of treatments including facials, Botox and chemical peels
On the price list are all the usual beauty treatments such as manicures, facials and of course Amy's speciality - the Vajazzle.
Amy was keen to promote her own range of spray tans and posed by one of the booths with a glass of champagne.
However, it's difficult to imagine how members of staff are going to get stuck in with spraying customers from head to toe whilst wearing such a fitted uniform and high heels.
Right behind her: Amy's manager Claire Powell was there to support her at the press launch today
Amy's latest business move and her career since she left TOWIE will be documented in her new television show, All About Amy, which is scheduled to be aired on Channel 5 on December 1.
